To play, each player selects a set of colored marbles and places them in one of the six points on the game board star. Players take turns moving their marbles, one space at a time or jumping over a marble if there is a vacant space on the opposite side. No marbles are removed when jumped. First player to traverse to the opposite point of the star wins! Features: Beautifully finished, wooden game board measures 13" by 13". Includes 60 marbles - 10 each in 6 colors - and instructions. For 2 to 6 players.

I purposely chose a set with primary colored marbles since my sister is visually impaired--the set that arrived were marbelized with faint color differences, NOT what I wanted.

I purchased this chinese checker set earlier this year. I taught my grandchildren how to play. This set is designed in such a way that the marbles do not roll everywhere, except where the player places the marble. The size of the set is great. It is a great game of strategy for kids and adults. My grandchildren suggested that for their birthday I could give them a Chinese checkers game. I later purchased 2 more sets to give to my grandchildren for their birthdays.
