With his list of accomplishments, it is easy to understand why Albert Einstein's name has become synonymous with the word genius. Lacking a team of assistants of even the use of a computer, Einstein used his finely tuned mind. to reshape science-from our understanding of the properties of light and energy to unraveling the mysteries of our expanding universe. Now, in collaboration with Excalibur Electronics, Einstein lends his name to a new collection of games meant to stimulate, challenge and develop your mind - while you have fun!

Comments about Excalibur Einstein E714 Electronic Chess - Chess Wizard:

Purchased this set for my 11 year old beginner. I was able to find a level that he could beat. Movement of pieces is by pressing start and end location. The downward pressure is detected well. The relatively small size of the board and the fact that the pieces store inside the case make the set travel well.

I have not noticed any negatives with the set.

Comments about Excalibur Einstein E714 Electronic Chess - Chess Wizard:

The E714 is just what I was looking for to rekindle my interest in chess. Although I never was serious about chess I did have the opportunity to help form a high school chess club a few years ago. I have since retired from teaching and strive to at least reach a level equal to some of the students who were passionate about the game.
